1.
Status - shows your statistics.
- 1.1. Legal money - shows how much legal money you have. Legal money is used for buying
legal business, setting up or upgrading businesses you already own. Also, if you're in need of illegal cash, you can withdraw
your legal money through bank section.
- 1.2. Legal income - legal income (per hour). It comes from the legal businesses
you own.
- 1.3. Illegal money - shows how much illegal money you have. Illegal money is used everywhere except in buying
legal business or setting up and upgrading legal business you already own.
- 1.4. Illegal income - illegal income (per
hour). If you want to increase your illegal income you should extort businesses or set up illegal business in legal business
(as a front).
- 1.5. Legal Businesses - shows how many legal businesses you own.
- 1.6. Businesses under protection
- shows how many businesses you have under protection (extortion).
- 1.7. Rank - shows your current rank. Chain of ranks:
newbie, gangster, wiseguy, mademan, capo, boss and godfather. You get promotion points for everything except killing.

1.8. Family - shows your current family.
- 1.9. Boss - shows your family boss. You pay 10% cut of your income: thefts,
legal and illegal income to your boss.
- 1.10. People under control - if you are a boss of family then this shows how many
people you control.
- 1.11. Bodyguards - number of your bodyguards.
- 1.12. Action points - shows your action points.
Almost every action in the game costs APs.
- 1.13. Rank progress bar - shows how many experience you obtained (blue) and
how much experience left untill you rank up.
- 1.14. Killing skill bar - shows your killing skill. If you reach the maximum
kill skill then the bar will be full.
- 1.15. Suspicion level - if that bar gets full - you will get busted by the cops.
To lower the level, you should bribe officials or stop doing illegal activities for some time.
2. News - news for you,
e.g.: someone tried to kill you or has taken over business that was under your protection.
3. Family - shows your family
members, their networth. Here you can leave your family. Also, you can start your own family, but you must be at least Made
Man. Family boss can appoint underboss that will change the current boss if he dies.
4. City map - The City has five districts:
north, east, centre, west and south. Each district consists of five blocks with 100 buildings in each. You can extort (take
under protection) or buy businesses. The higer business level the better income and the greater protection money cut.
5.
War - kill, rob, assault, arson. Also, hire or fire your bodyguards.
- 5.1. Whack the bastard - kill someone. Attempt to
kill costs 20k and 20ap. The enemy can be attacked once per two hours. Your killing skill gets better if you successfully
kill someone and he is at most two ranks below your rank.
- 5.2. Rob the gangster - rob costs 5ap and takes away 10% of
victim's illegal money.
- 5.3. Assault the gangster - assault your enemy. If assault was successful your victim will lose
80% of his action points. Assault costs 5k and 10ap.
- 5.4. How many bodyguards to hire - the limit of bodyguards you can
hire is 6. Each bodyguard costs 5k/hour of illegal money. The more bodyguards you have the harder it is to kill you.

5.5. How many bodyguards to fire - fire your bodyguards.
- 5.6. Arson building - Destroy your enemy's business. Arson costs
100k, success rate is 60%.
6. Hitlist - You can put enemy on the hitlist for a reward. If you want to put him anonymously
it will cost you additional 50k. If someone kills your enemy the reward will be sent to the killer.
7. Killed - a list
of obituaries and cheaters.
8. Scores - players' networth, game place (by networth) and profiles (name, rank, boss, family,
family members, networth, wealth, last active, rank progress and quote). Networth shows how good player is.
9. Families
- a list of all existing families, their members and networth.
10. User search - search for a player.
11. Bank - a
place for money transfers, laundering and withdrawing.
- 11.1. Transfer cash - send cash to other player.
- 11.2. Launder
illegal money - convert illegal money to legal. You can only launder at least 50k and get 70% back of clean (legal) money.

11.3. Withdraw - you can withdraw your legal money (convert it to illegal).
12. Theft - make some easy money.
- 12.1.
Hustling.
- 12.2. Launder counterfeit money.
13. Extortion - there you can see a list of businesses that are under your
protection racket.
14. Legal business - there you can see a list of all legal businesses you've bought. You will get only
70% of your business price if you sell it. If you buy 1st or 2nd level business, you can upgrade it to 2nd or 3rd level. Upgrade
costs 50k per level. If you buy residence, you can set up a legal business in it.
15. Illegal business - there you can
set up illegal businesses in your legal businesses. When you've set up one of the illegal businesses you can manage it. For
example, set your casino's bankroll or chance of wining, upgrade you counterfeit money printers, expand chop shops or prizefight
ring. Also, everyone can access illegal markets through this section.
16. Bribe - there you can bribe officials - 10%,
25% or 50%
17. Reward - you can vote for omerta by clicking on link and get $5000 reward and a few promotion points.

Messages - there you can send messages to other players, view messages and family invitations that you have received from
other players. Messages are separated by recieved (Inbox) and sent (Outbox) ones. You can delete only recieved messages, sent
ones will be in outbox untill reciever deletes them.
19. Public forum - forum for all players.
20. Exclusive forum -
There're admins announcements. Also there you can see other interesting stuff, like the newspapper "Omerta Times" threads
and etc.
21. Family forum - it is a forum of your family, only family members can read it and post there.
22. Account
settings - there you can change your account password, quote or profile picture.
23. Voting poll - there you can vote.
You can vote once per poll.
24. Game help - this document.
25. Logout - logout, recommended for safety.
Q: How do I become/rank up to Gangster?
A:
There are a lot of ways to rank up (get promotion points), ex.: you can extort or steal; most of other actions give you promotion
points (except killing).
Q: When will I get more action points (AP)?
A: You get 5 APs every 10 minutes (you can
have 120 AP max).
Q: How do I become rich ?
A: There are a few ways to get rich: go to the City Map and take over
extortions. Rob money from rich people (War section). When you have some cash, you can setup your own illegal bussines and
start making real money.
Q: How many ranks exist?
A: There are 6 ranks - Newbie, Gangster, Wiseguy, Mademan, Capo,
Boss and Godfather. The higher rank - the harder it is to get it.
Q: Why I didn't receive the Reward?
A: Sorry
it's not our fault. Voting server didn't count your IP.
Q: How do I join a family?
A: The family boss must invite
you.
Q: How do I kill someone?
A: First you must rank up to Gangster (then you can go to War section). After that
you must have $20.000 and 20 Action points, then just write down victim's name, select Whack and click "Do it".
Q:
Bodycount (i see it in a player's profile) - what is it?
A: It shows how many people that player has killed.
Killing
and skill:
You get 4 skill points when you become Gangster.
When you try to kill it works like this:
your
skill is multiplied by 10
+10% for every rank defender is lower than you and vice versa -10% for every rank the defender
is higher than you (example if Gangster tries to kill a Made Man, he get's -20%)
bodyguards: they reduce skill by 10%.
So if defender has 6 bodyguards, it's -60% penalty.
Example:
BoSsQ (Godfather) tries to kill Mongolas (Boss). BoSsQ's
skill is 10 (which is very high) and Mongolas has two bodyguards.
do the math: 10 x 10 = 100
100 +10% [BoSsQ is one
rank higher than Mongolas] -20% [Mongolas has two bodyguards] = 90
the success rate is 90/1000, or 9%.
Rising skill:
when you kill someone your skill rises by one (up to max of 15). BUT there's one important condition. Your victim must be
at most 2 ranks below rank, that means Made Man increases his rank by killing a Gangster, but don't get anything by killing
a Newbie.
That skill bar in your status and profile shows your skill: min is 0 and max is 15.
1. You can't have more than one account
in the game.
2. You can't play with your friend's/brother's (and etc.) account, while you have your own account.

The game play of
this game is very simple and not hard to handle, there i snot much to take on borad to be able to play the game until we go
into a lot more detail of the game itself, so to play you need to have a lot of spare time, the computer and the internet...
then the object
is to become rich and make money, to kill for justice, revenge or however you feel and to rsie in ank, in whatever you feel
you need to...
it all sounds so
easy, i suppose after playing it for so long everyone seems to think so, but everyone needs to start somewhere...
i always said i
wasnt going to explain the game and i am not, im just going to try and help to make you realise what your options are in the
game, and help you to understand what you can do or what you may want to do and what you think is best...
